Controlling switch with relay driver

The circuit above is  a circuit of drivers to control high voltage using the relay. Relay is controlled by an NPN transistor , its that works on 5V voltage and has diode in it, if the relay does not have s diode should be given with diode 1N4007 . Pin relay to  move the switch connected to V+ 5V and other is connected from driver NPN transistor , the base od the transistor may have input such us from circuit of infrared to control the distance, or with some other input. After the transistor was input  and the collector had output a voltage of the switch relay will work, and voltage that in switch relay ready to use. To cut off switch eliminates enough voltage input at the base transistor , the collector will not remove the voltage , and switch are automatically disconnected.

Mini RS232 Data Switch

Only simple materials and a little bit of skill are needed to build an RS232 switch. All that you need are two 9-way sub-D plugs with solder pins, a small piece of sheet aluminium, two sets of screw retainer posts, a 4-pole double-throw switch, a strain relief sleeve and a suitable plastic connector shell for a 25-way sub-D connector, with both in-line and right-angle cable entries (such as Conrad Electronics #711322). What is important is that the side cable entry together with its associated strain relief leaves enough room for the switch. If necessary, you may have to cut away a few square millimetres of the sidewall or a few ribs of the plastic shell. Project image :   Mini RS232 Data Switch Image The switch is operated via the in-line cable opening, as can be seen from the photo. A suitable switch with an overall length of 29 mm can be found in the Conrad catalogue under order number 708232. The only modification that must be made to the connector shell is to drill two holes ...

ESP8266 – 5 internet connected switch

This internet switch is “plug and play” – it will automatically set all EasyIoT Cloud settings, so no configuration in EasyIoT Cloud is needed. [ ]

Momentary Action with a Wireless Switch

Many different types of wireless switch modules with a relay for switching AC power loads are commercially available. However, some applications require a short On or Off pulse, such as is provided by a momentary-action (pushbutton) switch. Here we describe a solution that simulates a pushbutton switch with a standard wireless switch. A supplementary circuit converts the switch module into a remotely controllable momentary action switch. In the supplementary circuit, S1 is the switching contact of the relay in the wireless switch module. This contact energises a 24-V power supply connected directly to the AC power outlet, consisting of a bridge rectifier (D1–D4) with a series resistor (R1), a series capacitor (C1), and a charging capacitor (C2). The two Zener diodes in the bridge rectifier (D1 and D2) limit the DC voltage on C2 to approximately 24 V.1 Momentary Action with a Wireless Switch Schematic When the wireless switch module closes con-tact S1, 24 VDC is applied to the coil...

Laser Controlled ON OFF switch Circuit Diagram

This Laser Controlled ON/OFF switch circuit is built around a 555 timer using very few components. Since the circuit is very simple, even a novice can easily build it and use it as a controlling device. A laser pointer, now easily available in the market, can be used to operate this device. This circuit has been tested in operational conditions from a distance of 500 meters and was found to work satisfactorily, though it can be controlled from still longer distances. . Laser Controlled ON/OFF switch Circuit diagram : Laser Controlled ON/OFF Switch Circuit Diagram Aiming (aligning) the laser beam exactly on to the LDR is a practical problem. The circuit is very useful in switching on/off a fan at night without getting off the bed. It can also be used for controlling a variety of other devices like radio or music system. The limitation is that the circuit is operational only in dark or dull lit environments. By focusing the laser beam on LDR1 the connected gadget can be activated throug...

Time Delay Touch Switch

Fitting switches which turn off automatically after a preset time in these locations can reduce the electricity consumed quite significantly. A single 100W bulb left burning all night (say eight hours) would consume 800W/hrs. The same bulb fitted with a switch which turned off automatically after say five minutes would consume only 83W/hrs, even in the unlikely event that it were to be activated ten times during this period. Triac Control There are two major problems to solve when designing a touch switch to replace a conventional mechanical light switch and these concern the power supply and noise immunity. The main switching element used to control the light is a triac, a semiconductor a.c. switch. This is normally in its off or non-conducting state but can be switched into conduction by means of a small trigger current fed to its gate terminal. Once triggered it will remain conducting until the current through it drops below a certain value (known as the holding current). This occur...

Audio Controlled Mains Switch Circuit Diagram

Audio Controlled Mains Switch Circuit diagram. It is often useful for audio or video equipment to be switched off automatically after there has been no input signal for a while. The function of the on-off switch in such equipment is then taken over by switch S2 in the accompanying diagram. It remains, however, possible to  switch off manually by means of Si. Automatic  switch-off occurs after there has been no input  signal for about 2 minutes: this delay makes it possible for a new record or cassette to be placed in the  relevant machine.   The audio input to the proposed circuit may be  taken from the output of the relevant TV set, amplifier, or whatever. The input earth is held at + 6 V  with respect to the circuit earth by potential divider  Ri-R2-R3-R4. The two 741s function as comparators: the output of ICi goes high when the in- put signal is greater than + 50 mV, whereas the out- put of IC2 goes high when the input signal  becomes mor...

Using Cd4066B Touch Switch Circuit Diagram

Build a Using Cd4066B Touch Switch Circuit Diagram. The CD4066B consists of four bilateral switches, each with independent controls. When touch switch SI is activated, R4 is driven high, and the control voltage goes high, which latches the switch. When S2 is activated, R4 goes low and the control voltage goes low, which deactivates the switch. Using Cd4066B Touch Switch Circuit Diagram

SIMPLE IR REMOTE SWITCH CIRCUIT

INTRODUCTION TO SIMPLE IR REMOTE SWITCH CIRCUIT Most of the Remotes used in our home appliances are based on IR ( INFRARED ). INFRARED rays are a part of Frequency Spectrum, in which they lies just below the visible light. So we can't be able to see them with our naked eyes. If you wants to see an INFRARED ray, just press and hold a button on your tv remote and point its led to a camera and you can see the ray on screen. I think you already know that. Ok. Right back to our topic, It is quite easy to control an appliance with a remote, isn't it.....? Yeah. And It is not a difficult task to make an appliance controlled by a remote. Now i am going to demonstrate you with an LED, just turn ON and turn OFF.

Simple Remote on off Switch Circuit Diagram

Simple Remote on-off Switch Circuit Diagram . This circuit provides power control without running line-voltage switch leads. The primary of a 6-volt filament transformer is connected between the gate and one of the main terminals of a triac.   Simple Remote on-off Switch Circuit Diagram The secondary is connected to the remote switch through ordinary low-voltage line. With switch open, transformer blocks gate current, prevents the triac from firing and applying power to the equipment. Closingthe switch short-circuits the secondary, causing the transformer to saturate and trigger the triac. Sourced By circuitsstream

A Headphone Monitoring Switch Schematic

In any recording situation, monitoring is critical to make sure you're getting what you want on tape. This is just as true in field recording, but in most cases, one's monitoring options are severely limited--stereo headphone is the only choice. Headphone Monitoring Switch  :     Since I often use dual-mono mics, hearing a stereo feed of the two is not always convenient. I wanted the option to hear JUST the left mic in BOTH ears, or just the right mic in both ears, as well as a normal stereo signal. This is simple enough to do with a big rotary switch. When completed, you can create a little box that your headphones plug into, which in turn is plugged into the stereo phone output of your deck. Then, by turning the knob on the switch box, you can hear normal stereo, left-only mono, right-only mono, left+right mono and even left-right reversed stereo (or normal stereo again).  Note the use of summing resistors in the left+right mono section. This was an attempt to pr...

Multiplexer Switch with 4066 Circuit Diagram

This is a switch circuit using a digital multiplexer 4066 Ic , their keys are ES8 ES1 to 4066 and each contains four switches. When the channel is selected first, and ES1 ES2 ES3 are closed and open, which prevents cross-over between the two channels is the grounding of the channel is not in use. The bandwidth of the multiplex circuit is about 8 MHz and the consumption is 1 mA. When the multiplexer circuit is connected to a load impedance of 75 Ω, the circuit will result in some loss of signal due to internal resistance of the keys. This can be compensated for by connecting an amplifier output. Multiplexer Switch with 4066 Circuit Diagram

USB Printer Share Switch Circuit Diagram Project

Description  This simple device allows two computers to share a single USB printer or some other USB device, such as an external flash drive, memory card reader or scanner. A rotary switch selects the PC that you wish to use with the USB device, while two LEDs indicate the selected PC. The most common way to share a USB printer between two PCs is to use one machine as a print server. However, that’s not always convenient because it means that the server PC must always be on if you want to print something.  Real Circuit Image That can be a real nuisance if you just want to quickly fire up the other machine and print something out. It also means that the two PCs must be networked together, either via a hub/router or directly via an ethernet crossover cable. Another way is to use a dedicated USB print server. However, as before, this must be connected to an ethernet network, along with the PCs. Such devices also need their own power supply, generally cost well over $100 and are o...

4 Digit Keypad Switch Circuit Diagram

Description   This is a universal version of the Four-Digit Alarm Keypad . I've modified the design of the output section - to free up the relay contacts. This allows the circuit to operate as a general-purpose switch. I used a SPCO/SPDT relay - but you can use a multi-pole relay if it suits your application. Do not use the "on-board" relay to switch mains voltage. The board's layout does not offer sufficient isolation between the relay contacts and the low-voltage components. If you want to switch mains voltage - mount a suitably rated relay somewhere safe - Away From The Board .   Circuit Diagram   Notes: The relay is energized by pressing a single key. Choose the key you want to use - and connect it to terminal "E". Choose the four keys you want to use to de-energize the relay - and connect them to "A B C & D". Wire the common to R1 and all the remaining keys to "F". The Circuit is easy to use. When you press "E" - curre...

Automatic AC Power Switch

for the Holiday Home Electrical appliances accidentally left on  in (holiday) homes left unoccupied for a  short or a long period consume power  unnecessarily and can present a fire hazard. Everyone will be familiar with those  nagging thoughts, a few miles down the  road from the house: “Did I remember  to switch off the coffee machine? The  lights? The oven?” Circuit diagram : Automatic AC Power Switch Circuit Diagram Hotel rooms are often equipped with a  switch near the main door which enables the power supply to everything in  the room only when the plastic card (which  might contain a chip or have a magnetic strip  or a pattern of holes) that serves as the room  key is inserted. The circuit idea given here  to switch off lights and other appliances is  along the same lines. The solution is surprisingly simple. A reed contact is fitted to the frame of the main entrance door, and a matching magnet  is attached to the door itself such that when  the door is closed the reed con...

Dual High Side Switch Controller Circuit Diagram

Dual High Side Switch Controller Circuit diagram : Dual High Side Switch Controller Circuit Diagram One of the most frequent uses of n-channel MOSFET’s is as a voltage controlled switch. To ensure that the MOSFET delivers the full supply voltage to the load it is necessary for the gate voltage to be a few volts above the supply voltage level. This can be a problem if no other suitable higher volt-age sources are available for use elsewhere in the circuit. The LTC 1982 dual high-side switch controller from Lin-ear Technology (www.linear-tech.com) solves this problem by incorporating a voltage tripler circuit in the gate driver stage. The gate voltage is limited to +7.5 V which is 2.0 V above the IC’s maximum operating voltage. It can directly drive the gate of logic-level MOSFET with a VGS(th) from 1.0 V to 2.0 V. A suitable n-channel logic level MOSFET would be the BSP 295. This device can switch up to 1.5 A and is available in an SOT 233 SMD package.

Solid State Switch For Dc Operated Gadgets

This solid state DC switch can be assembled using just three transistors and some passive components. It can be used to switch on one gadget while switching off the second gadget with momentary operation of switch. To reverse the operation, you just have to momentarily depress another switch.  The circuit operates over 6V-15V DC supply voltage. It uses positive feedback from transistor T2 to transistor T1 to keep this transistor pair in latched state (on/ off), while the state of the third transistor stage is the complement of transistor T2’s conduction state.  Initially when switch S3 is closed, both transistors T1 and T2 are off, as no forward bias is available to these, while the base of transistor T3 is effectively grounded via resistors R8 and R6 (shunted by the load of the first gadget). As a result, transistor T3 is forward biased and gadget 2 gets the supply. This is indicated by glowing of LED2.  Circuit diagram : Solid-State Switch For Dc-Operated Gadgets Circu...
