Alarm Indicator for High Temperature Reading

The circuit has been designed to provide an alarm with the use of a buzzer when sensing high temperature by using a thermistor. Thermistor – one type of resistor used as temperature-sensing element which demonstrates a large change in resistance proportional to a small change in temperature because of the composition of its semiconductor material. BC550 – an NPN general purpose transistor with low current and low voltage used for low noise stages in audio frequency equipment. The temperature can be regulated by the design of this circuit and it can provide a warning scheme in the case of excessive increase in the temperature. The control of the temperature starts from the thermistor TH1 which contains a negative factor. Since this component has resistance proportional to the temperature that it detects, the resistance can be modified wherein a 10K ohm resistance is produced ate 25° C while 1K ohm resistance will be produced at 94° C. to define a specific value of temperature, a trimmer...

What is color temperature about flexible led strip

Correlated color temperature (or CCT) is an integral aspect of lighting design that TLP must take into account with every project. It is measured in Kelvin degrees and corresponds to the color of the light a lamp puts out.  Warm color temperatures typically used in architectural lighting usually range from 2700K to 3500K.  CCTs below 2700K start to become qualified as amber-colored, and are used in more specialty applications.   Cool color temperatures range from 4000K up to around 7000K. Color temperature preference in lighting design varies depending on the application as well as between geographical locations.  Asian societies tend to prefer higher CCTs in residences, restaurants, and stores; whereas warmer color temperatures are typically more desirable in the same applications in Western society.  Warm CCTs give us a feeling of coziness.  Cooler color temperatures start to come into play in hospitals and some offices, where alertness and attention to...

Simple Temperature sensor and DVM interface Circuit Diagram

This is the Simple Temperature sensor and DVM interface Circuit Diagram. The DVM gives a direct indication of the temperature of the sensor in degrees Centigrade. The temperature sensor IC1 gives a nominal 1 µ per degree Kelvin which is converted to 10 mV per degree Kelvin by Rl and VR1. IC2 is a micropower, low input drift op amp with internal voltage reference and amplifier.   Simple Temperature sensor and DVM interface Circuit Diagram The main op amp in IC1 is connected as a voltage follower to buffer the sensor voltage at Rl. The second amplifier in IC1 is used to amplify the .2 V internal reference up to 2.73 V in order to offset the 273 degrees below 0°C.The output voltage of the unit is the differential output of the two op amps and is thus equal to 0.01 V per °C. Intelligent Temperature Monitoring and Control System using AVR Microcontroller

Controlling temperature has been a prime objective in various applications including refrigerators, air conditioners, air coolers, heaters, industrial temperature conditioning and so on. Temperature controllers vary in their complexities and algorithms. Some of these use simple control techniques like simple on-off control while others use complex Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) or fuzzy logic algorithms. In this project Shawon Shahryiar discusses about a simple control algorithm and utilize it intelligently unlike analogue controllers. Here are the features of this controller: Audio-visual setup for setting temperature limits. Fault detection and evasive action. Temperature monitoring and display. Audio-visual warning. System status. Settable time frame. Data retention with internal EEPROM memory. [ ]

Car Temperature Gauge

The Car Temperature Gauge is basically the same circuit as March's project with some minor changes to the input circuit. This circuit will display the water temperature to 1 degree resolution.

Fire Alarm using NE555 and temperature sensor

This is a simple series of fire alarms. In this series used NE555 timer and temperature sensor to detect high temperatures. The working principle of this temperature sensor that is when the temperature is high around the sensor then there is resistance on the sensor to be small.  However if the low temperature then the resistance will be high. If the resistance of small sensors, the voltage supply will be able to flow past the sensor and activate the transistor. IC1 NE555 as a regulator of the audio frequency. Transistors 1 and 2 are used as a driver IC1. Output (pin 3) of IC1 would trigger a transistor base T3 (SL100), which drives the speaker to produce sound the alarm. Frequency NE555 depending on resistance values of R5 and R6 and the capacitance sensor C2 temperature. When the temperature gets hot, would provide a low resistance so that supply voltage can flow into the base of transistor T1 through a diode D1 and R2. Capacito...
