Ultra Bright LED Lamp

This ultra-bright white LED lamp works on 230V AC with minimal power consumption. It can be used to illuminate VU meters, SWR meters, etc. Ultra-bright LEDs available in the market cost Rs 8 to 15.These LEDs emit a 1000-6000mCd bright white light like welding arc and work on 3 volts, 10 mA. Their maximum voltage is 3.6 volts and the current is 25 mA. Anti-static precautions should be taken when handling the LEDs. Circuit diagram : Fig.1: Ultra-Bright LED Lamp Circuit Diagram The LEDs in water-clear plastic package emit spotlight, while diffused type LEDs have a wide-angle radiation pattern. This circuit (Fig. 1) employs capacitive reactance for limiting the current flow through the LEDs on application of mains voltage to the circuit. If we use only a series resistor for limiting the current with mains operation, the limiting resistor itself will dissipate around 2 to 3 watts of power, whereas no power is dissipated in a capacitor. The value of capacitor is calculated by using the follo...

5 000 W ultra light high power amplifier

This circuit is of an 2x 2,500W RMS stereo amplifier, super-light and without switching-mode power supply. The circuit just shows a channel, and the power supply that it assists to the two channels. The audio circuit should be duplicated, but the power supply assists to the two channels without problems. A special care should be destined to the insulating transformer of the audio line, that should be of audio-high-quality, of the type used in microphone pre amps input line. The whole group (2 channels) of 5,000W RMS it should not weigh more than 32 lbs, already inside of an appropriate metallic box. Warning This circuit is exclusively for amateur use. It contains not-isolated parts of the electric AC net and it can be very dangerous. The connections for the speakers are not isolated of the domestic AC net and it requests extra care. This procedure seeks to substitute a conventional power supply with great weight and cost reduction, without necessarily to use a switching-mode power supp...

Ultra Fast Battery charger circuit

Ultra Fast Battery Chager for Nickel-Cadmium battery cells [NiCad] which will be discussed in this article is Fast NiCad Battery Charger, called the Ultra Fast Charger Battery Charger NiCad because it can make filling fast NiCad Batteries Cell. A battery charger in Desai has a fast charging capabilities such as Ultra Fast Battery Chager for Nickel-Cadmium battery cells [NiCad] on this article shall be equipped with some ability to protect the battery and charger circuit itself. Feature owned by Ultra Fast Battery Chager for Nickel-Cadmium battery cells [NiCad]  Autoshut-off, is the ability of the charger to stop charging current to a NiCad battery if the capacity NiCad battery is fully charged. Polarity Protection, with the existence of this capability so if there are mounting the battery on the charger upside yan can be known. Constant output voltage Output currents enough to fill some NiCad batteries at once in parallel. Short Circuit Protection, with the existence of this protec...

Ultra Low Power LCD Indicator

This circuit serves as an ultra-low power replacement for multiple LED on-off indicators. It also has the advantage of being easy to read in full daylight. With the parts shown, it is possible to display four bits of information. The display that I used has three digits and 2 decimal points for a total of 23 segments. Different groupings of segments can be used for the four indicators. I chose to use three squares (shown) and the three lower segments together (not shown) for the four indicators. Many other combinations could be used, one possibility would be to hard-wire numbers or letters out of each of the digits. Other LCD displays could also be used for different effects. Circuit Diagram A part that doesn't exist as far as I know, but should, is a single pixel LCD indicator (2 wire). An LCD manufacturer could probably make a lot of money with such a part. If such a thing exists, I'd love to hear about it. Specifications: Operating Voltage: 3-15V (5V Nominal) DC Operating Cu...
