INTERFACING CD4033 IC WITH 7 SEGMENT DISPLAY

INTERFACING CD4033 IC WITH COMMON CATHODE 7 SEGMENT DISPLAY CD4033 is a Decoder IC, which is commonly used to drive 7 segment displays. The pin 1 of CD 4033 IC is used as CARRY IN, which is highly sensitive to electromagnetic radiations and the pin 5 of this IC is used for CARRY OUT to the next stage. Figure shows the INTERFACING diagram of CD 4033 IC with 7 Segment display. Led display digital Voltmeter

more info / buy kit : www.smartkit.gr front side Copyright of this circuit belongs to smart kit electronics . In this page we will use this circuit to discuss for improvements and we will introduce some changes based on original schematic. General Description This is an easy to build, but nevertheless very accurate and useful digital voltmeter. It has been designed as a panel meter and can be used in DC power supplies or anywhere else it is necessary to have an accurate indication of the voltage present. The circuit employs the ADC (Analogue to Digital Converter) I.C. CL7107 made by INTERSIL. This IC incorporates in a 40 pin case all the circuitry necessary to convert an analogue signal to digital and can drive a series of four seven segment LED displays directly. The circuits built into the IC are an analogue to digital converter, a comparator, a clock, a decoder and a seven segment LED display driver. The circuit as it is described here can display any DC voltage in the range of 0-1...

Next generation iPad to sport iPad mini like design and display Reports

It's that time of the year again. As we approach fall, we're getting closer to the launch of Apple's new products, as promised by CEO Cook during the company's last earnings call. This also means that we can expect new rumours and leaks to start hitting the Internet. While a lot is already known about the iPhone 5S (the next-generation iPhone) and the iPhone 5C (the low-cost iPhone), we're also seeing new rumours and leaks related to the next-generation iPad and iPad mini. A number of rumours have already suggested that Apple is modelling its next-generation iPad on the iPad mini in terms of design and form factor. The speculation has got more credence thanks to a new report by The Wall Street Journal. The report mentions that the new iPad will feature the same touch-panel technology that's seen in the iPad mini, making it thin and light. It cites people with knowledge of the matter as a source, and adds that Apple intends to use the film-based touch panel used ...
