Kindly Share 11 Apple Rumors Ahead of Next Weeks iPhone Event

With just a few days until Apple's big event, we're at the height of rumor season. Will there be a budget version of the iPhone announced? Most likely. Could the next-generation iPhone come with a fingerprint scanner? Eh, maybe.  We won't know what Tuesday will bring for sure, but in the meantime, here's a look at the biggest rumors making the rounds online: Rumor 1: The Name Rumor : The next-generation iPhone will be called the 5S. Next generation iPad to sport iPad mini like design and display Reports

It's that time of the year again. As we approach fall, we're getting closer to the launch of Apple's new products, as promised by CEO Cook during the company's last earnings call. It cites people with knowledge of the matter as a source, and adds that Apple intends to use the film-based touch panel used ...

If Apple does lift the curtain on its next-generation iPhone on Sept. 10, it would be two days short of a full year since the iPhone 5 was revealed. While Apple CEO Tim Cook is rumored to be under pressure from Apple's board to step up the pace of innovation and product release schedules, that lag between new iPhone releases wouldn't be particularly unusual for the company—Apple went 16 months between introducing the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S , for example. But as Fried noted, even as Apple has continued to enjoy robust sales of the iPhone this year, the company has seen its overall share of the gl...
