Explanation of Output Form Transistor Amplifier

Output form Transistor Amplifier The below fig shows the common emitter transistor amplifier. There are two ways of taking output from the transistor amplifier. The output can be taken either across R C or across terminals 1 and 2. In either case the magnitude of output is the same. Suppose if we take the output across load resistor R C in the collector circuit i.e. Output = Voltage across R C = I C R C      …………………… (4) This method of taking output from collector load is used only in single stage amplifiers. The output can also be taken across terminals 1 and 2 V CE = V CC – I C R C            …………………. (5) From this V CC is a D.C. Voltage and cannot pass through capacitor C C therefore only varying voltage I C R C will appear across terminals 1 and 2.  Output = I C R C From expression (4) and (5) it is clear that the magnitude of output is the same whether takes output across collector load or ...

4 Output Stage 5V 6V 9V 12V Stabilized DC Power Supply

This is definitely an effective 4-output stage stabilized DC power supply unit for testing electronic circuits. It delivers very well regulated and stabilised output, that is important for most electronic circuits to provide good results. The circuit gives you an audio-visual indication if there is a short circuit in the PCB under test, so the power supply to the circuit ‘under test’ could be cut-off instantly to protect the important components from damage. The circuit gives you four different regulated DC outputs (12V, 9V, 6V and 5V) and an unregulated 18V DC output, that are selectable by way of rotary switch S2. The selected output is showed on the analogue voltmeter connected to the outputs rails. The circuit works by using a typical 18V-0-18V, 500mA step-down transformer to deliver 18V AC. A rectifier diode comprising diodes D1 and D2 supplies 18V DC, that is smoothed by capacitor C1 and given towards the combination of regulator ICs (IC1 through IC4). The regulator ICs deliver ...

Simple Relay Output Proximity Sensor Circuit

This is the Simple Relay Output Proximity Sensor Circuit Diagram. In This Circuit Ql is used as an oscillator around 300 kHz. R9 is set so that the oscillator just begins to run. An object ne ar the antenna will load the circuit down, and stop the oscillations. This is detected by buffer Q2, diodes Dl and D2, and this activates relay driver Q4, which operates the relay.  Simple Relay Output Proximity Sensor Circuit Diagram

15 V output regulated power supply circuit with uA723 and 2N3055

The supply receive from 220 /120/110 Volt AC , then lowered by the transformer . Then receives +20 Volts DC from rectifier / filter section. This applied to pin 11 and 12 of the IC uA723/LM723 , as well as to the collector of the 2N3055 series pass transistor. The output through R1 and R2, providing about 7 V with respect to ground at pin 4. The reference terminal at pin 6 is tied directly to pin 5 , the non inverting input of the error amplifier . For fine trimming the output voltage , a potentiometer can be installed between R1 and R2. A 100-pF capacitor from pin 13 to pin 4 furnishes gain compensation for the amplifier. Base drive to the 2N3055 pass transistor is furnishes by pin of the uA723. Since desired output of the supply is 1 Ampere, maximum current limit is set to 1,5 Ampere by resistor Rsc whose value is 0,422 Ohm. A 100uF electrolytic capacitor is used for ripple voltage reduction at the output. A 1 kOhm output resistor provides stability for the power supply under no - lo...

10 Output LED Sequencer Circuit Diagram

This is a simple 10 Output LED Sequencer Circuit Diagram. This is a 10 output LED sequencer . After the last LED is illuminated, the circuit is reset. This circuit is build around readily available, low cost 10 Output LED Sequencer Circuit Diagram Component a 555 and decade counter CD4O1 7. The timer IC NE555 is wired as an astable multivibrator that produces 6Hz clock at its output pin 3. The 4017 is a CMOS decade counter with 10 outputs. Inputs include a CLOCK (Pin 1 4), a RESET (Pin 15), and a CLOCK INHIBIT (Pin 13). The clock input connects to a Schmitt trigger for pulse shaping and allows slow clock rise and fall times (not needed in our case).  The counter advances one output at the rising edge of the clock signal if the CLOCK INHIBIT line is low. A high RESET signal resets the counter to the zero output. The circuit may be configured for counts less than 10 by connecting RESET to an output pin (one after the desired count). Thus, a five stage sequencer can be made by connect...

Power Supply with regulator output use IC uA723

This circuit operating with IC uA723 and add amplified with transistor  TIP31 or similiar transistor with TIP31 . Input voltage for circuit about 10 - 40 volt DC , formerly of AC voltage 220 volts or 110 volts , then lowered by the transformer voltage to 30 volts. And the supply output voltage from 1 volt to 35 volt DC  you can adjust it on potentiometer  R2 .  See this circuit power supply below : Output voltage transformer used 10 to 40 Volts . On resistor Rsc is the current limit set resistor. Its value is calculated as : Rsc = 0.65 Volt For Example : If you need current output 2.0 A Rsc = 0.65 / 2.0 = 0.32 Ohm So , you must use 0.32 Ohm to current output 2.0 A

5V 10A output switching power supply

The Schematic above shows a 10A power suplly with a 5V output and with power 50W. It is a flyback converter operating in the continuous mode. The circuit features a primary side and secondary side controller with full protection from fault conditions such as overcurrent. After the fault condition has been removed the power supply will enter the soft start cycle before recomming normal operation.
