Led Flasher with the LM3909 IC streampowers

The LM3909 is an integrated circuit (IC) which will flash a light-emitting diode (LED). Using only two extra components and a battery, the circuit is cheap and has a very low current drain from a 1.5 V cell. The circuit can be used as a novelty flasher, an indicator for a dummy alarm bell box, or it could be attached to a torch so that it could be found easily in the dark! The simple circuit Led Flasher with the LM3909 IC Diagram Assembly The circuit can be built on a small piece of Veroboard (the piece shown in Figure 2 measures 15 holes by 10 strips). Using such a board, follow these instructions. 1. Depending on how far away you want the LED from the circuit board, solder a length of insulated wire to each lead of the LED. Use different colours of insulation – say, red and black, connecting the red lead to the anode (a) lead (the longer one) of the LED, and the black one to the cathode (k). Figure 2 shows these leads. 2. Cut the copper tracks as shown in Figure 2, using a 3 mm (1⁄8 ...

Stereo Power Amplifier Using IC 7905

79xx is a widely known series of low-cost, fixed-negative-voltage regulators. These integrated circuits are available with output current of 100-150 mA (L series), 0.4-0.5A (M series), up to 1A (standard series), etc. They can be used in many applications other than regulators, audio power amplifier being one of them.  As shown in the circuit diagram, a simple stereo audio amplifier is built around two 7905 negative-voltage regulators (IC1 and IC2) and a few discrete components. The 7905 IC (a -5V regulator) used here is readily available. However, the circuit will also work with other 79XX regulators if appropriate power supply is used. Both channels shown in the diagram are identical. Hence the description below is only for the first channel. The quality of the output signal is within acceptable limits. Arrow LED Indicator using 74hc14 IC

This arrow led indicator electronic project can be used in some dark places to show the directions . You can use to indicate direction just an illuminated arrow or a flashing light , but is much nicer if the light moves in the correct direction. This arrow led indicator is based on 74HC14 circuit and some LEDs which are used to show the way . For this arrow led indicator we need six series of three LEDs arranged in the shape of arrows and are connected to the outputs . Each time the lit arrows move over by one column so it appears that the arrows run from right to left. Arrow LED Indicator Circuit Diagram If we want to change the speed of the moving light it’s need to change the value of C1 to C3 or R1 to R3 ( a lower value for this components decrease the time of moving lights). If we want a longer arrow we can mount in parallel with existing columns another columns . For power supply we can use batteries or 6V regulated power supply .

IC 555 Tester Circuits

555 timer tester is a simple circuit that serves to test the condition of IC 555. 555 timer circuit tester, in principle, start the timer 555 in astable multivibrator mode. As an indicator of the status of the timer 555 good condition or damaged to use 2 pieces LED which will light up in a blink alternately when the timer 555 in good condition. And only one will turn on or off all the timer 555 when the condition is broken. 555 timer circuit tester is powered using 9 Volt DC voltage source. Complete circuit tester 555 as follows.   How to use 555 timer tester is in conjuction with IC 555 to test the existing IC socket according to the order button. Then activate the power switch to begin testing the 555 timer ic. Then live we observe the LED indicators 2 before, whether flashing alternately (good) or not blink or even die all (timer 555 damaged). source:link

Audio power IC for mp3 Player

Overview: The AN12941A is an amplifier IC for stereo  speakers which can output 1 W by 8 Ω or 2 W by 4 Ω.  The AGC circuit is built-in to prevent the resonance  or the vibration by the speaker's energy and the   clipping distortion what is called "broken up sound."  of the speakers. Also, to reduce power consumption, AN12941A  has a built-in function which automatically detects the  input signal and can automatically enter power save  mode when there is no signal. Features: Speaker amplifier is 1 W × 2-channel: 8 Ω, VCC = 5 V or 2 W × 2-channel: 4 Ω, VCC = 5 V Built-in AGC circuit  Prevention of the resonance or the vibration by  the speaker's energy and the clipping distortion  of the speaker by AGC at excessive input signal  (with AGC on/off switch). Built-in automatic power saving function  It detects input signals and switches on/off (with  the on/off switch for the automatic power saving). Operating supply voltag...
